Agrocrops embarked on this mission with HOPE, aiming to pioneer peanut production in India, offering the highest nutrition and value to key stakeholders including farmers, shellers, and consumers. Additionally, our initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing poverty, hunger, and health. While HOPE has traditionally been prevalent in the Western hemisphere, we are determined to make it accessible to the rest of the world.
In order to encourage the adoption of HOPE within the agricultural community, we provide free HOPE seeds to farmers associated with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). We envision this initiative as a potential model for enhancing seed distribution methods and sustainable agriculture practices in the times to come. After cultivation, the harvested HOPE seeds are acquired directly by Agrocrops and utilized for subsequent propagation in the upcoming planting seasons.
Given the exceptional quality of HOPE, farmers can anticipate receiving a more favourable market price compared to other peanut varieties. Additionally, HOPE holds promise as a strong contender for Fair Trade sales categories. Consequently, fostering a synergistic partnership between farmers and end-users of peanuts can serve as an effective strategy for further promoting HOPE, ultimately maximizing the success of this project.
